Principal The solution under analysis is sprayed aas a fine mist into a non-luminious flame which becomes coloured according to the characterisics emission of the metal. Wavelengths, corresponding to the element being analysed are selected by a narrow band optical filter and are allowed to fall on a photodetector, whose output is ameasure of the concentration of the element. The output of the photodetector is connected to Digital Display to provide the read-out.
System The total system consists of Main unit and Compressor unit. The main unit of the flame photometer, consists of an atomizer, mixng chamber, burner, optical lens, filters, photodector and digital display.
Compressor unit consists of control valve, pressure indicator and Air filter to provide moisture free and oil free air.
